Am I Psychic?

Am I psychic is a question that we all quietly contemplate at times. Most specifically when we are sitting at the stop light and concentrating, hard, on the light suddenly going green or when we receive a phone call from one of our dead beat relatives, calling to ask for a “small loan.” We just knew that it was one of them, no doubt, calling for more money. And while being psychic is about instinct and intuition, it is about listening, for real, to those feelings. The human body is so complex; I don’t think most of us know exactly what we are capable of. So, somebody claims to actually see Aliens!?! Well maybe they did. A lot of people have to have someone to believe in and they think that everyone should break bread on the same beliefs. However, there are some people who believe in something not someone or someone and something.  These are people who have chosen so due to what they have witnessed in life, including struggle or psychic abilities, confusion or questioning. In my eyes, these are the ones who are so much closer to the truth than anyone who just goes along.

These are the ones who will no doubt pose the question, “Am I Psychic,” to themselves. Unearthing that you may be psychic, is not an easy discovery. You had to have something happen in your life that made you ask the question right? What did you see? That is how most psychics or future psychics start out. We saw something move, a ghost in our living room or for some of you whom are a little more powerful than the next, you ventured into unknown realms. I am quite convinced, through my own discoveries that the mind may be our greatest asset to all that is yet to be known. There are those who have heard voices first and to this day I truly believe that some of our Schizophrenic patients may just be lost by the touch.

We don’t realize it, but some of us have diddled with our gifts before we even know that there is such a thing. As a child, while sitting in the bathroom or in my room alone, besides reading books and writing them another activity that I use to do was stare blankly at the white wall. Why I did this? I have no clue, it just so happened that I did. And I would glare, not just at them, but into them until the walls completely disappeared. Never did I comprehend that what I was doing could be compared to Scrying. Scrying, for those who are unfamiliar with the term, is when you gaze into a crystal ball, a blackened mirror, a bowl of water and for me a blank wall.

So how do you know that you are psychic? Try this. Listen to that voice that is in your head, as long as it is not causing you any harm or speaking of harming anyone else then you are okay. Ask it questions like: “Who are you?” “What do you want?” “Who are you here for?” “Tell me about you?” Or even better “Show me.” You will be surprised at the things you see and the places you can go. I have never traveled anywhere in my life, besides Kansas once, and I know what the trees look like in other States. I know what the land looks like in parts of countries that I have never dreamed of visiting.  The first thing I suggest is a pendulum, it is easy and friendly. I love pendulums. Or for those who would prefer to shuffle rather than sit and steady hold a pendulum, try a deck of Tarot cards. I would prefer the use of meditation and just the knowing, dreaming… everything natural, but Tarot is natural as well.

Tarot cards, in my opinion, are more used for concentration purposes. Like if you don’t want to stare at the kooky hat on your clients head or you do not like to stare in people’s eyes much because some of us are shy.  The tarot can also give you the insight you need, especially when a card jumps out at you. More than likely, that card will be the client’s card. The one card that really speaks of them, their life and/or struggle. However, I would most definitely suggest a good glance into someone’s eyes; I have always done it, another unknown gift. And I can see right through them. The eyes truly are our windows and staring into someone’s may let you know whether to stay away or bring them into your life. To sum this all up, the best things you can do are

  1. Listen to your feelings and those voices and ask questions.
  2. Don’t dismiss what you see. You can try and figure out if you really saw that, but accept it.
  3. Read books that interest or relate to you. This is something that I did not do until I turned twenty-five and it was simply because I did not want to be labeled a “Psychic.” The ones who try so hard to be that they research and practice. But, I later found out that if you constantly push away or hold down your gifts, they may never return. Because I was so stuck on my gifts coming natural, I did not know any of the terms that related to my abilities and I ended up having to meditate to see what I needed to know, rather than it just coming. So practice and knowing about this stuff is another great and important thing you should do.
  4. Attend Psychic fairs and confirm your suspicions with other well-known or developing psychics. Do not tell them, but let them tell you.
  5. Write it down! Sometimes dreams are not dreams. If things stick out in your dreams such as colors, places, or it is a questionable dream. If it is recurring or just too real then write it in a journal. Keep the journal beside your bed so that you will not lose the details when you awake.
  6. Lastly, Trust in you; do not depend on anyone else to believe you.
